RUN AWAY ROJO saved ground, bid near the quarter pole, was hit in the eye by the crop of SIR BAHJY in early stretch, bid at the eighth pole, bumped with SIR BAHJY and was in time under a mild drive. JAZZOLE stalked the pace in the three path, bid on the far turn, vied in the stretch and was caught late. SIR BAHJY was unrushed in the three path, bid near the three-eighths pole, was bumped near the eighth pole, steadied and bid again late. CHOCOLATE MOOSE vied inside and was outfinished. RICH KINGDOM was not a factor. LITTLE JAKE led between rivals, was steadied near the eighth pole and faded. THE STEWARDS TOOK NO ACTION FOLLOWING AN INQUIRY AND AN OBJECTION BY THE RIDER OF SIR BAHJY ALLEGING INTERFERENCE BY THE WINNER IN THE STRETCH. THE STEWARDS DETERMINED THAT THE RIDER OF SIR BAHJY INITIATED THE INCIDENT WHEN THE WINNER WAS HIT IN THE EYE BY THE CROP.
