MERIT BADGE stalked the early pace in the three path, rallied on the turn and was clear in the stretch under a mild drive. C R SULTAN was squeezed back at the start, rallied in the four path near the half-mile pole and gained the place. UNCLE WITH MONEY dueled inside of a rival and gave way near the eighth pole. HARD ZONE stalked the pace in the three path and lost the crop just before the wire. SHAI A dueled outside of a rival and gave way near the eighth pole. MY AWESOME GOLD raced evenly in the two path. GRAND OPRY stalked the pace with no late bid. CHENAL VALLEY was not a factor. BEACH VIBE was squeezed back early. MR. GRUMPY PANTS saved ground and faded in the stretch. PROPHETICALLY steadied in the early going and saved ground.
