PURDY DARN GOOD dueled outside of a rival, bid near the three-eighths pole and drew off under a mild drive. TRUST THE WORD dueled inside but was no match. PAPIAMENTO stalked the pace in the three path, bid near the three-eighths pole but faltered. MAGICAL WISH was squeezed back early, stalked the pace between rivals and faltered in the stretch. DREAMING SMART saved ground to no avail. LONGSTRIDER improved position late. CLOCKER SPECIAL stalked the pace in the three path and faded near the three-eighths pole. JR SWEET FEET and DEWY'S DENALI were not factors.
