OSCAR D stalked the pace inside, rallied on the far turn and drew off near the eighth pole and won under a steady drive. VERSED stalked the pace in the two path, rallied on the far turn but was no match. PIED PIPER saved ground, trailed, rallied in the four path on the far turn and closed outside while no threat. PSALMIST lost the path early, rallied in the three path near the three-eighths pole and closed late inside. ABDICATE hopped at the start, was clear early but couldn't last. VENENO FUTURO stalked the pace in the three path, bid at the quarter pole, vied four wide briefly in the stretch and faltered. HOMEPAGE saved ground and gave way near the half-mile pole. LUFKIN was not a factor.
