E'S MAGIC pressed the pace in the three path and closed late. HOT MIDDLES was unrushed, bid in the four path on the far turn and gained the show spot. LIL GIN N CLASS was off awkwardly, led inside and faded on the turn. SHANGHAI EXPRESS stalked the early pace in the two path and gave way near the half-mile pole. NO JOKING MATTER stalked the pace inside and faded in the stretch. ACE REPORTER was through early inside. BARB'S VORTEX was not a factor.
