Footnotes
PLAYONWORDS saved ground, bid in the three path near the three-eighths pole and was clear late under steady handling. ZUN REYDER dueled outside but couldn't hold off the winner. STAR SAVER dueled inside but yielded late. WEEKEND REVEILLE saved ground and rallied late inside. RUM ROCK saved ground with no late bid. HANDSOME JIMMY stalked the pace in the four path with no late bid. HURRICANE EXPRESS (FR) raced in the three path, came in near the eighth pole, had his heels clipped and had no late bid. QUIET EMPIRE was off awkwardly and improved position late while six wide. AIN'T DERE NO MO was unrushed early and was steadied near the eighth pole to avoid a fallen rider. CHATTERFIELD raced evenly in the four path. THE BLUE FACTOR was not a factor. AL AMJAAD saved ground, clipped heels near the eighth pole and lost the rider, then was corralled and walked home. FOLLOWING A STEWARDS' INQUIRY, HURRICANE EXPRESS (FR) WAS DISQUALIFIED AND PLACED 11TH FOR INTERFERENCE NEAR THE EIGHTH POLE.
