PALM TREE stalked the pace in the three path, bid four wide near the three-eighths pole, dueled, was carried out to the six path near the quarter pole and was no match in the drive. SPIRIT OF ROYAL saved ground, bid near the eighth pole and proved best of the rest. MAGNUS GOLD hopped at the start, bid in the three path near the three-eighths pole and improved position late.
