ALPHA OMEGA was clear early, dueled outside of a rival in the stretch and lasted under steady urging. PERSONAL CREED stalked the pace inside, rallied near the quarter pole, dueled through the stretch and was outfinished. NINE QUESTIONS saved ground, angled to the four path on the far turn and rallied for the show spot. TEXAS CYCLONE broke sharply, chased the pace but had no late bid. VINO CALDO stalked the pace in the three path but had no late bid. GOOD POINT raced evenly in the three path. TRAIN AND TRUST was steadied early in traffic, then had no late bid. MR CORN stalked the pace in the two path and faded in the stretch. BOYS CODE was off awkwardly when the gate opened slowly, trailed, bid in the five path near the three-eighths pole and had no late bid and was declared a nonstarter. SUPERSONIC ME saved ground and faded on the far turn. CHARBON stalked the pace inside and faded in the stretch. ONLY FRANK KNOWS saved ground to no avail. FOLLOWING AN INQUIRY, THE STEWARDS DETERMINED THAT THE OUTSIDE GATE DID NOT OPEN PROPERLY, THEREFORE DEPRIVING BOYS CODE OF A FAIR START. BOYS CODE WAS DECLARED A NONSTARTER.
