SILVER STAR was off awkwardly, raced in the three path, rallied near the three-eighths pole and drew off in the stretch while kept to task. SIR CADEN stalked the pace, bid in the four path near the quarter pole and proved second best. RUETTIGER stalked the pace inside but had no late bid. WHITBURN stalked the pace in the three path, angled to the six path near the quarter pole, rallied but faltered late. BOURBON D'ORO raced in the four path and improved position late. I LIKE BEER (IRE) was bumped at the start, raced inside, bid in the three path near the quarter pole and faltered in the stretch. ZONA ROSSO led inside before giving way in the stretch. PRIZE PERFORMANCE saved ground with no late bid. CLEVER HEIST pressed the pace in the two path, bid near the three-eighths pole and faltered in the stretch. BANYAN raced in the three path with no late bid. LINDENBORG was not a factor.
