EVELYN LOUISE stalked the pace in the two path under a snug hold, bid near the three-eighths pole, bore out approaching the three-sixteenths pole and bumped a rival hard, moved back to the rail, bid and prevailed under a steady drive. MCLAUGHLIN trailed, angled to the five path on the far turn, rallied and gained the place late. BRITTANYSGLDNFAITH saved ground, angled to the four path on the far turn and rallied. SI CERTO bore in at the start, was clear early, dueled briefly in the stretch and gave way late. SPUN UP stalked the pace in the three path, was bumped hard at the top of the stretch and faded in the drive. PAINTED DESERT stalked the pace in the three path and faded near the quarter pole. STEAMPUNK was bumped at the start and was no factor. FOLLOWING A STEWARDS' INQUIRY AND AN OBJECTION BY THE TRAINER OF SPUN UP, EVELYN LOUISE WAS DISQUALIFIED AND PLACED FIFTH FOR INTERFERENCE AT THE TOP OF THE LANE.
