CLAY BASKET trailed early inside, rallied near the three-eighths pole, dueled late and was outfinished. SCHOOL SPIRIT stalked the pace in the four path, was brushed near the three-eighths pole and rallied belatedly. ADALENE led in the two path, vied between rivals in the stretch and was squeezed back near the eighth pole.
