VENUS D'ORO was squeezed back at the start, was unrushed inside, rallied in the four path on the far turn and was clear under steady handling. STAY BEAUTIFUL was off awkwardly, pressed the pace in the two path but couldn't hold off the winner. ROYAL REIGN was unrushed early, bid inside near the three-eighths pole, shifted to the three path in the stretch and closed late.
