FOUR STAR GENERAL stalked the pace in the four path, bid near the three-eighths pole, vied three wide briefly and drew off under mild urging. DEWEY OXBURGER led inside but couldn't hold off the winner. JOGGER pressed the pace in the two path, bid near the half-mile pole but was no match. STARSPANGLEDIMAGE and CARTHAGE CRUISER raced just off the rail and lacked late bids. BOLD JUSTICE was through early. STARSPANGLED LOUIE was not a factor.
