Footnotes
SKARA BRAE showed the way in the two path, shook clear of an outer presser while well in hand in upper stretch, drew off when let out momentarily in midstretch and gradually widened as her rider searched for competition. CROSSFIRE raced forwardly along the inside, tipped to press outside of the leader and from the three path around the turn, proved no match in upper stretch yet was second best. UNCLE WITH MONEY tracked in the four path and between horses, chased mildly in the five path in upper stretch and proved best of the rest while delaying changing leads until nearing the sixteenth pole. ZEE R ONE chased in the five path then tired. MR. FETE broke slowly, lagged behind along the inside and got outrun.
