SLAY THE DAY prompted outside of the leader and from the three path, bid entering the lane, dueled while wrestling an advantage in midstretch, dug in as an outer bidder joined the fray late and held. SAPPHIRE BEACH (IRE) stalked along the inside, tipped to the four path to take aim outside of the embattled leading pair in upper stretch, sustained gradual progress to offer a late bid but was denied, then was found to have bled. CY FAIR set the pace inside of the eventual winner while remaining a path off of the inside around the turn, dueled with that one entering the lane, hung on her left lead in upper stretch, changed over while getting headed at the furlong grounds, fought on grudgingly thereafter but was kept at bay. LIGHT WON UP pursued from midpack in the two path, chased in the three path into the lane then stayed on to edge fourth in the final furlong. LENNILU stalked from the four path, chased into the lane, floated to the five path in upper stretch, gave way and yielded fourth. SHOULD'VE broke a step slow, trailed along the inside, shifted out to the five path entering the lane then moved up. MAP OF THE MOON broke a step slow, saved ground off of the pace to no avail. QUIET STREET popped open the gate pre-race, broke a beat slow, lacked speed in the two path and made little impact. SNOW FACE PRINCESS raced off of the pace in the three path then failed to factor between horses.
