WEST COAST DREAM brushed with an inner foe at the start, tracked four to three wide, then between foes down the backstretch, bid three to two wide rounding the far turn, inched into even terms passing the furlong grounds, edged past and held sway. SPEED SKATER steadied while close up behind the leaders into the first turn, stalked down the backstretch and turning for home, but encountered rail traffic in midstretch, altered out in the final furlong then ran on to gain place late. LEXICO showed the way near the inside, came under rousing with five sixteenths to go as an outer foe issued a challenge, got collared by that bidder at the furlong grounds and yielded. GALATINA was brushed between horses and steadied back at the start, steadied gain while pursuing from the three path into the first turn, shifted to the five path to tug outside of rivals entering the backstretch, inched closer reaching the far turn, chased within striking range four to three wide turning for home then tired. STARBRITE STARLITE brushed with an inner foe at the start, trailed two wide then failed to menace. NUTS AND BOLTS brushed with an outer rival at the start, stalked three to two wide, then between horses down the backstretch before weakening around the far turn. KNOCKONWOOD got keen and steadied while forward and among foes into the first turn, tracked two wide and between horses, chased in the three to five path turning for home, but weakened in upper stretch and caved. QUEEN MCKINZIE broke a step slow and brushed an outer rival at the start, raced off of the pace along the inside then was through entering the far turn.
