BLACK GINGER raced close up along the inside, bid two wide into the turn, gained command with five sixteenths to go, drove clear entering upper stretch then held sway. MOMBAYLA got antsy in the starting gate and required resetting, trailed in the two path into the turn, moved out to the four to five path while building momentum in upper stretch, rallied through the final furlong and was belatedly gaining on the leader. SPOTAWAY set the pace early on, vied with an outer bidder into and around the turn, got headed at the five sixteenths pole, proved no match for that bidder then kept on mildly. COULDYOUBELOVED pursued from midpack along the inside, came under coaxing in the two path into the turn, then lacked a bid yet moved up. SHE'S NO ANGEL stalked the top pair from the three path, chased them around the turn, moved out to the four path entering the lane and tired. FOOTNOTE chased from the three to four path then steadily faded. BROOKLYN CAN DANCE boke slowly, raced off of the pace in the three path, fanned out to the six path entering the lane and got outrun.
