AWESOME RUTA pressed the leader from the three path, vied in the two path around the far turn, led leaving the quarter pole as an outer rival took aim then held sway from that pursuer through the final furlong. TRUSTY RUSTY stalked along the inside, then from the three path around the far turn, took aim outside of the top pair nearing the lane but was kept at bay thereafter. EVENING NEWS brushed with an inner foe at the start, set the pace near the inside as the eventual winner prompted, vied with that one around the far turn, got headed at the quarter pole, gave way thereafter yet saved show at the wire. GOES THE CLOWN brushed with an outer foe leaving the gate, trailed in the three path, shifted out to the five path entering the lane then ran on willingly to miss show. TIME FOR TROUBLE settled off of the pace in the four path, took the far turn in the two path and failed to factor. AMERICAN LAW tracked from the three to four path, chased around the far turn and faded. LIAR'S POKER settled in the two to three path, saved ground around the far turn, but weakened and was eased through the lane.
