Footnotes
FLOODLITES led narrowly in the two path while vying with an outer rival into and around the turn, got collared entering the lane as his stable-mate joined the fray at the quarter pole, shifted out to the three path to battle with that bidder in upper stretch, clung to an advantage while hanging on his left lead at the furlong pole, changed over leaving that marker, then repelled his challenger and shook clear late. WHATCHATALKINABOUT tracked from the four path, ranged up to bid entering the lane, dueled with his inner stable-mate through midstretch, but was turned away at the sixteenth pole and was clearly second best. KALAHARI DREAMS chased along the inside then lacked a bid. CAN DO ANDREW vied for the lead outside of the eventual winner and from the three path, but yielded between the top pair in upper stretch and faded. KEEP IT EASY stumbled at the start and dislodged his rider. A STEWARDS' INQUIRY REVIEWING THE START RESULTED IN NO CHANGE TO THE ORIGINAL ORDER OF FINISH.
