Footnotes
WUPKAR showed the way a path off of the inside, met an outer challenge turning for home, shook free of that one in upper stretch and lasted late. ABITIBI bumped an inner rival at the start, stalked thee wide and from the four path, bid turning for home to vie entering the lane, but was turned away in upper stretch, kept on well through the final furlong to close in on the leader once again, but ran out of ground late. ATLANTIC STRIKE bumped an outer rival at the start, tracked along the inside, paused waiting for racing room around the turn, tipped to vie for show in the three to four path entering the lane and ran on evenly. STAND BY YOU laid off of the pace in the three to four path, inched closer around the turn, vied for show in the five path entering the lane and flattened out. FAIRY CAKES (GB) took simultaneous contact from rivals on both sides at the start, pressed the leader from the three path but faded between horses turning for home.
