DAMASCUS STEEL tracked along the inside, tipped to the three path to take aim on the leader entering the lane, bid before wrestling an advantage in midstretch then edged clear. NINE BALL showed the way in the two path, built a clear advantage while in hand around the turn, got collared by an outer bidder in upper stretch, headed at the furlong grounds yet fought on to be second best. TOBIN LEE saved ground off of the pace, ran on along the inside to gain show at the furlong grounds and was best of the rest. COMPRESSED pressed the leader from the three path, chased into and around the turn, pursued in the four to three path into the lane and gave way. STOLEN POWER trailed in the five to four path, shifted out to the six path in upper stretch and failed to factor. DR FENN chased from midpack in the five path then tired. SOMETIME tracked from the four path, then between horses around the turn, but yielded at the five sixteenths pole and weakened.
