SPEED SHOPPER pursued from midpack two wide, progressed four wide turning for home, bid in upper stretch, forged an advantage at the furlong grounds, drove clear and held sway. GOLDEN SUNSHINE trailed along the inside, swung out to the five path in upper stretch, rallied to reach place late and sustained gradual progress on the clear leader late. WAY TO BE MARIE stalked along the inside, then in the tow path into the backstretch, bid two wide and between horses rounding the final turn, edged an advantage entering the lane, but got collared by an outer bidder shortly after, was headed in midstretch and gave way. LITERATE lacked speed along the inside, took the final turn in the three path, fanned out to the five to six path into upper stretch and rallied willingly. MRS. ASTOR tracked along the inside, pursued from the pocket into the final bend, came under rousing moving to the two path at the five sixteenths pole, chased between horses into upper stretch but lacked a bid and gave way. VENENCIA (FR) tracked from the three path, pressed the top pair around the final turn then yielded between rivals in upper stretch. TRIUMPHANT SPIRIT stalked in the three path, inherited an advantage while moving to the inside into the backstretch, led from an outer pair around the far turn, got headed entering the lane and weakened. VIRGIN COLADA pulled clear early on, but bolted wide entering the backstretch, pulled up shortly after then walked off.
