NATIONAL ECLIPSE set the pace in the two path, vied with an outer presser around the far turn, dug in when a wider challenger joined the fray entering the lane, repelled those foes in midstretch and shook clear leaving the furlong grounds. JUS TOO FLY settled off of the pace in the two to three path, ranged up outside of foes in the three to four path around the far turn to bid outside of the top pair entering the lane, but was turned away in midstretch, battled for place through the final furlong and prevailed. RAISING KANE pressed outside of the eventual winner and from the three path, vied around the far turn, then between horses into the lane, but failed to match stride with his inner counterpart in midstretch, sparred for place through the final furlong but yielded. MENA tracked from the three to two path, chased within striking range of the leaders around the far turn but lacked a bid. VINO COURAGIO was allowed to settle well back along the inside, advanced while saving ground around the far turn but failed to reach contention. STOLEN POWER bumped with an inner rival leaving the gate then steadied out of cramped quarters between horses shortly after. SPECIAL JUSTICE bumped with an outer foe at the start, raced off of the pace in the four to five path and failed to factor. PROFESSOR HIGGINS trailed in the four path, floated to the six path into the lane and made little impact. MANFREDI tracked from the four path then faded in the three path and between horses around the far turn. CONTRARY CHIEFTAIN stalked from the four path but faltered rounding the far turn and was eased through the lane.
