Footnotes
LA PUMA stalked along the inside, paused before splitting the leaders in the four path entering upper stretch, bid then drove clear at the furlong grounds and held sway from a pursuing foe thereafter. LAIGINA broke slowly, settled well back in the two path, rallied four wide and between horses in midstretch, took aim on the leader in the final furlong but was kept at bay to prove second best. QUIET STREET missed the break and spotted the leaders multiple lengths, trailed along the inside, swung out to the seven path entering the lane then rallied willingly. CADENZA laid off of the pace four wide, fanned out six wide into the lane, offered a mild kick to vie for place into the final furlong but flattened out. TRISKELION led early on, vied with an outer pair around the turn, got headed in the two path at the three sixteenths pole then faded. LIGHT WON UP pursued from midpack in the three path, then between horses around the turn, shifted to the six path into the lane and failed to menace. ALPENGLOW broke a beat slow, saved ground off of the pace, took rail aim leaving upper stretch but lacked a bid. NOW OR NEVERMORE advanced between horses early on, vied two wide and between rivals around the turn but faded in upper stretch. PILLAR OF BEAUTY tracked from the two path, but steadied hard and clipped a rival's hind heels when put to crowded quarters in the five path entering the lane, then failed to re-rally. ROCKET RANIA lacked speed in the three path, swung out to the eight path in upper stretch and made little impact. OFFICE prompted three wide, vied around the turn, floated to the five path and had a hind heel clipped by a trailing foe entering the lane, then weakend.
