Footnotes
COOL ANDY set the pace inside of a pair of prompters around the first turn, vied with only a single rival around the far turn, shook free into the final furlong and inched away under a drive. ANTHONIAN prompted two wide and between foes around the first turn, sustained pressure outside of the eventual winner down the backstretch, bid and vied around the far turn, but was turned away in midstretch and proved second best. SCOTTISH STORM pressed three deep, failed to sustain pressure with five furlongs to go, sustained pursuit and chased the top pair around the far turn, but was no match for them and proved best of the rest. PALAGIO lagged behind early on, then improved between rivals entering the lane. GOOD BALI lacked speed along the inside, chased in the three path around the far turn and made little impact. HANDSOME PANTS pursued from midpack in the two path and weakened turning for home.
