Footnotes
OVERSTATEMENT stalked in the three path, then between horses down the backstretch, was roused within striking range while tipping outside of the top trio turning for home, ranged up to bid entering the lane, sparred while wresting a narrow advantage at the furlong grounds, battled gamely with a stubborn inner counterpart thereafter and prevailed via a tight head-bob. LAUGHNOWCRYLATER prompted outside of the leader and from the three path, vied three deep into and around the far turn, led briefly before an outer rival bid entering the lane, dug in and dueled with that one in upper stretch, got headed in midstretch, fought on gamely through the final furlong and narrowly missed in a head bob at the wire. ULTIMATE STRIKE was brushed by an inner foe at the start, raced off of the pace in the four to five path and ran on willingly to reach show at the wire. POLAR BEAR PLUNGE pursued from midpack along the inside, took closer order to bid inside of the top pair approaching the far turn, vied with those rivals around that bend, but gave way in upper stretch and lost show in the shadow of the wire. MI DINERO set the pace inside of a pressing rival while remaining a path off of the inside, vied between horses after an inner foe issued a bid nearing the far turn, but faded entering the lane. BETTERA brushed an outer foe at the start, pursued from midpack in the five to four path into the backstretch, chased around the far turn and faded. BATTER UP broke a beat slow, trailed along the inside, improved position with nine sixteenth to go, but tired turning for home. LOOK TO THE CROSS raced off of the pace two wide and between horses then was done early.
