Footnotes
TINGUS PINGUS showed the way in the two path, built a clear margin rounding the far turn, drifted out entering the final furlong, flopped back to his left lead and lugged inwardly at the sixteenth pole, then narrowly lasted from an outer challenger late. GRAY IS OKAY stalked along the inside, chased the clear leader turning for home, stayed on as that one wandered about in the final furlong, closed in on the tiring leader in the final sixteenth, offered a bid approaching the wire but missed. PSALMIST broke a step slow, raced off of the pace along the inside, split foes to claim show from an inner rival entering the lane and was best of the rest. CAPRIO tracked along the inside, chased turning for home and lacked a bid. BAGG O TIME broke slowly, trailed in the three to two path, then along the inside turning for home and moved up. OTZELBERGER broke slowly and shied from an inner rider-dislodging rival at the start, lacked speed while moving out to the three path around the first turn, shied from an outer foe while being floated inwardly and was forced to steady between rivals in upper stretch, then improved position. C. P. A. JIM laid off of the pace three wide, chased in the four to five path into the lane and tired. TULLY pursued from midpack in the two to three path then gave way between horses before being transported off of the track in an equine ambulance. MOONWALK lacked speed along the inside and got outrun. STEPNOSKI pressed the leader from the three path, but weakened around the far turn and was eased between rivals in the final furlong. UNBRIDLED'S MAP stumbled at the start and dislodged his rider, then was gathered by an out-rider in the gallop out and walked off.
