Footnotes
KUNAN pursued from midpack five deep then rallied to sweep past the clear leader at the sixteenth pole. SILVER HALO set the pace along the inside, drew clear entering the lane, but hung on his left lead, got overhauled by an outer bidder at the sixteenth pole and safely managed place. AIR CAV broke slowly, raced at the rear two wide, altered out to the seven path in upper stretch and moved up to reach fourth at the wire. MEGASTAR stalked four wide, chased into the lane, got outkicked by an outer rival in upper stretch, took contact from an inner foe in midstretch, continued to vie for show while hanging on his left lead and got nailed by an outer bidder at the wire. MIDNIGHT BOSS raced off of the pace in the three path, then in the four path and between horses at the five sixteenths pole, stayed on between rivals into the final furlong, shifted inwardly at the sixteenth pole and continued on mildly to miss a minor placing. CLEAR ECHO raced off of the pace in the six to four path into the turn, gradually floated back to the six path into the lane, stayed on mildly to offer a late bid for minor placings but missed between horses. WOODSPOINT pressed two wide, got outkicked by an outer rival in upper stretch before drifting out and bumping a foe at the furlong grounds, continued to vie for show thereafter but yielded between horses late. CHANCE broke slowly, raced at the rear along the inside and failed to factor. GENO'S MYTH tracked three wide and between horses, then lacked a bid. CORMAN checked back when the leader shifted across his path nearing the five furlong pole, stalked along the inside, chased into the lane and weakened. MEMES chased two wide and between horses then faded turning for home.
