FOR FILLIES, THREE YEARS OLD. By invitation only. Keeneland Association to pay all starting fees, with $650,000 guaranteed plus an additional $150,000 KTDF for KTDF eligible horses. After payment of 1.25% to each owner of horses finishing sixth through l ast, 62% of the remaining association purse will be paid to the owner of the winner, 20% to second, 10% to third, 5% to fourth, 3% to fifth. KTDF funds correspondingly divided providing a KTDF eligible horse finishes in an award position. Weight: 121 lb s. The Keeneland Association will invite a representative field of twelve fillies to compete. The field will be drawn by the usual time of closing. (If this race is taken off the turf it will be downgraded one grade level for this running only in accorda nce with American Graded Stakes Committee policy). A Keeneland trophy cup will be presented to the owner of the winner. A silver julep cup will be presented to the winning trainer and jockey. In the event that this race is taken off the turf it will be co ntested at One Mile and One-Eighth on the main track.

LUSH LIPS (GB) stalked the leader from the two path, pursued within striking range outside of that one turning for home, ranged up to bid in upper stretch, gained an advantage coming to the final furlong, drove clear leaving that station and held sway. LAURELIN (IRE) tracked two to three wide, ran on to claim place at the sixteenth pole, continued slow progress on the clear leader late but was kept at bay. OPULENT RESTRAINT (IRE) showed the way along the inside, got collared by an outer challenger in upper stretch, got headed reaching midstretch, yielded while hanging on her left lead shortly after, lost place at the sixteenth pole before changing to her right lead and kept on late. FIONN stuttered a step leaving the gate and was last away, trailed along the inside before moving out to the three path nearing the backstretch, continued to trail in the four path around the far turn before swinging out to the six path into the lane, then ran on willingly in the final furlong and moved up to reach fourth at the wire. CANDY QUEST lacked speed in the two path, shifted out to the five path in upper stretch, edged fourth passing the furlong grounds but got nailed by an outer bidder at the wire. DAISY FLYER tracked along the inside chased around the far turn and gave way. SIMMERING (GB) broke awkwardly, laid off of the pace along the inside, was called upon while pursuing two wide and between horses rounding the far turn, chased between rivals into the final furlong and faded. DESTINO D'ORO raced off of the pace two to three wide and faded.
