FLEETFOOT MAC set the pace as an outer rival prompted into the turn, shook clear in upper stretch then held sway. STEVE WOOD prompted outside of the eventual winner into and around the turn, failed to match strides with that one in upper stretch yet kept on to maintain pursuit through the final furlong. KASHVILLE stalked from the three to four path, inched into striking range outside of the top pair turning for home but leveled off. INTERMEDIATION raced off of the pace in the three to two path and between horses, chased in the three path into upper stretch and lacked a bid. THE LAST CAMPAIGN was off slow and steadied at the start, lacked speed along the inside, steadied when encountering traffic into the turn, took the bend in the two path and moved up. INVASION broke outwardly, pursued from midpack in the four to three path, chased while fanning to the five path into the lane and gave way. CHAMPAGNE COAST raced at the rear in the four to six path and failed to factor. ACUFF veered inwardly after breaking multiple lengths slow, rushed forward to chase forwardly along the inside coming to the half mile pole, but weakened around the turn and was eased through the lane.
