COMMON DEFENSE tracked along the inside, then two wide and between horses down the backstretch, pursued in the two to four path around the far turn, swung out to the six path into the lane, rallied to gain command at the furlong grounds and kicked clear. EL REZEEN pursued from midpack along the inside, then in the four to five path around the final turn before fanning out to the seven path into the lane, yet rallied to edge place in the final sixteenth. CRYSTAL QUEST laid off of the pace three to two wide, ranged up to the leaders four to five wide around the final turn, offered a bid in upper stretch, but got outkicked at the furlong grounds, yielded place in the late stages and held show. BAIL US OUT laid off of the pace near the two path, moved out to the five path entering the lane, shfited inwardly and rallied but missed show at the wire. FACTOR ANALYSIS lacked speed along the inside, shifted out and offered early progress four wide with nine sixteenths to go, advanced to bid into the far turn, led with five sixteenths to go, but got headed by an outer pair in midstretch and faded. DAUNT trailed along the inside, then in the three path around the final turn before shifting to the six path into upper stretch and moved up. MUTAAWID lacked speed two to three wide, took the final turn in the five path before fanning to the eight path into upper stretch, and failed to factor. PRESIDER stalked along the inside, pursued under urging around the far turn, chased two wide into the lane, lacked a bid and gave way. CALYCANTHUS laid off of the pace along the inside and failed to factor. GOES THE CLOWN stalked two to three wide, attempted a bid while getting outmoved by an outer foe into the far turn, but only managed to chase among foes around that bend before weakening. BIG TO DO prompted two wide, vied around the second turn, then between horses into the final bend but weakened turning for home. NOT FALLING BACK set the pace inside of a prompting rival, got headed by a wider challenger with five sixteenths to go and caved.
