CHRISTY prompted two wide, vied turning for home, led an outer RHAPSODY IN BLUE issued a challenge in upper stretch, repelled that rival at the furlong grounds and drove clear. RHAPSODY IN BLUE eased back soon after the start, laid off of the pace in the four path, rallied in the four to five path nearing the lane to bid outside of the new leader in upper stretch, but was turned away at the furlong grounds and kept on to prove second best. SHOT AT PERFECTION brushed with an inner foe leaving the gate, chased along the inside then stayed on mildly to edge show from an outer foe in the final sixteenth. DEMURE tracked from the three path, got outkicked by an outer foe before chasing four wide into the lane, yet stayed on mildly to forge fourth reaching the wire. COCOA BEAN brushed with an outer foe at the start, set the pace inside of the eventual winner into the turn, vied turning for home, got headed in upper stretch, leaned outwardly while giving way leaving the furlong grounds then yielded between horses late. IRISH PUB broke a step slow and was last away, lagged behind along the inside and made little impact. SISTER WIFE stalked from the two path then weakened in the three path and between horses entering upper stretch.
