Footnotes
CONEJO CHAPIN broke very slow, trailer around the bend, advanced outside rivals around the turn, seven deep at the furlong marker, rallied under strong handling for the victory. SUNDAY BREEZE saved ground off the pace, slipped inside foes in upper stretch, under an all-out drive, up in time for the place. FIESTY FIST rated outside rivals into the turn, took aim five wide into the lane, closed in willingly for the show. TAMBOURINE STAR rated along the rail into the turn, roused on between runners leaving the quarter pole, evened out through the final stages. MAJORITY OPINION broke alertly, contested the pace two wide around the bend, had no punch through the final stages. CREEKSIDE broke sharp, set a pressured pace along the rail around the turn, herded leaving the furlong marker, weakened through the final sixteenth.
