BLAZING SABER hustled from the gate and crowded an outer rival in the opening furlong, took command then sprinted to a clear lead along the backstretch, made his own pace to the quarter pole, drifted to the two then three path into the stretch, kept to task into the drive then dug in into the final sixteenth, held off foes in deep stretch and lasted for the win. DIXIE'S ASTRO allowed to settle early on, coaxed two wide along the turn, shifted to the rail at the quarter marker and rallied into the stretch, finished well along the rail into the final sixteenth, was gaining on the winner in deep stretch but could not reel in BLAZING SABER and held for second. LIVE AFFAIR caught in tight soon after the break and shuffled back in the opening furlong, trailed to the turn, made a steady advance two wide and between foes into the stretch, closed willingly to the final sixteenth, could not get by the leading pair in deep stretch and held for third. BLAME ME SERIOUSLY broke in a bit at the start then crowded inner rival in the early going, was forwardly placed along the backstretch, tracked the loose leader from the two path into the turn, swung to three path while in pursuit into upper stretch, chased BLAZING SABER while four wide into the final sixteenth, could not find more in deep stretch and was outkicked late. HEZA SEXY ZONG close up to the early pace while in a bit tight, shifted out and tracked from outside of rivals along the backstretch, was well placed while tracking from the three path into the turn, lost ground nearing the top of the lane, coaxed from the four path through the stretch, weakened in the drive. IRON MOON settled while saving ground approaching the turn, lost position nearing the quarter marker, could not find more into the stretch then came up empty in the late stages.
