Footnotes
MARY CLAIRE broke alertly, showed speed and vied for the early lead inside of rivals, was caught in tight approaching the turn and took up nearing the three furlong pole, fought on and re-bid three wide to upper stretch, sustained her rally to the furlong grounds, took command into the final sixteenth and won going away. MILLIE'S DEAL broke out at the start and was off a bit slowly, rushed up in the early stages and chased the pace three wide heading into the turn, pressed the pace into the bend, dueled JUBILATE to upper stretch then battled that foe into the final furlong, was no match late for the winner, held for second. JUBILATE hard sent from the gate, showed speed and disputed the early pace from between rivals, dueled along the inside nearing the quarter marker, engaged with MILLIE'S DEAL and battled that foe to mid-stretch, was no match for the winner into the final sixteenth, missed for second and was clear of the rest for third. ROSEIGH ALL DAY broke in at the start and crowded inner rivals, settled off of the early pace, went up and chased the dueling leaders two wide into the turn, fanned four wide to upper stretch, lacked the needed response nearing the furlong marker and flattened out in the lane. VICKIE'S HALO bumped at the start but away in good order, tracked the early pace from the inside, lost ground into the turn, coaxed from the three path to upper stretch, no threat in the late stages. LILLY WARBANKS squeezed at the start, lacked early speed, trailed into the turn, kept an inside path to the stretch and did not factor in the drive.
