Footnotes
WAVING BYE had good speed away from the start and took early command, showed the way to the turn, led from the two path into upper stretch, kicked clear at the furlong marker, kept to task to the final sixteenth and held sway to the wire. WHERE'S AUNT J away in good order and close up to the early pace, moved to the outside of WAVING BYE and chased that rival to the turn, ran in pursuit two to three wide to the quarter, repelled to upper stretch, could not make headway on the winner into the final sixteenth but held well late for second. MISCHIEF ANGEL tracked the early pace from the outside, was well placed while three to four wide into the turn, coaxed from the five path to upper stretch, could not muster a final response in deep stretch and just missed for second, while holding clearly for third. MO DIXIE DIVA broke out a path at the start and crowded outer rival, tracked the early pace from the inside, chased the pace while saving ground into the turn, ran in pursuit to upper stretch, could not find more into the drive and flattened out late. SARA'S SAPPHIRE broke in at the start, crowded an inner rival and was off a bit slowly, advanced between foes in the early stages, was caught in tight entering the turn and steadied at the three-eighths marker, lost position along the bend but kept on into the stretch, lacked the needed response in the drive and did not rally late. ANN'S STORM broke alertly, lacked early speed and settled off of the pace along the backstretch, outrun to the quarter marker, saved ground to upper stretch and did not threaten in the late stages. IN YOUR LIFE pinched at the start and spotted the field to begin, trailed to the quarter marker, coaxed two to three wide upper stretch, no factor in the drive.
