MYRNA reserved in the early going, made a steady advance to the half-mile, roused three wide into the far turn, responded well to upper stretch then full of run into the stretch drive, took command into the final sixteenth and kicked clear late. MOTHERTWOTHEBLUES squeezed at the start, settled off of the early pace and saved ground to the first turn, advanced and was well placed into the backstretch, bid three wide into the far turn, took command at the quarter pole then drew clear to upper stretch, led into the final furlong, was overhauled by the winner in deep stretch and was a clear second best. LA JEFACITA broke out at the start, recovered and tracked the early pace from the inside, well placed to the half-mile marker, got caught in tight at the three-eighths behind a tiring foe, chased to the quarter marker, angled out in upper stretch, could not keep pace with the top pair into the lane but stayed on late and was a clear third. OPEN FLAME unhurried from the gate, advanced while saving ground into the far turn, chased to the quarter marker then angled out to upper stretch, could not sustain a bid to the final furlong and flattened out. IONA MCKINZIE broke in a bit soon after the start, raced close up to the early pace, tracked two to three wide nearing the half-mile, vied between foes into the far turn, repelled to upper stretch, chased the leaders to the furlong grounds, tired in the final sixteenth. CALIPARI'S GIRL broke out a bit at the start and crowded outer rival, settled mid-pack heading to the backstretch, coaxed two to three wide into the far turn, lacked a response to upper stretch and did not threaten in the late stages. DEWEY'S SOLDIER crowded a bit leaving the start and last away from the gate, lacked early speed and trailed to the backstretch, was well back to the quarter marker, passed a tired rival in the stretch and did not factor late. RHYTHM READY broke alertly and hustled for the early lead, dictated terms while setting solid fractions to the backstretch, overtaken into the far turn, gave way in the stretch.
