Footnotes
FIT TO FLY pressed the early pace setter, took charge at the three eighths, kept on task down the lane to maintain a diminishing advantage. RUNNIN MUNNIN chased the pace from the inside, shifted out to pass weakening foe at the quarter, fought on to close some distance but was held at bay. KNICKS STORY tracked the pace three wide, lacked a significant response. VAN GINKEL was reluctant to load the starting gate, settled off the pace, entered the stretch in the four path and passed tired foe. CASTILLE assumed early command under pressure from FIT TO FLY, conceded at the three eighths and retreated. GUCCI BOY trailed throughout, was a non factor.
