EAST SHORE tracked the pace four wide in the early stages, ranged up to contest STEAPHANIE STARFISH rounding the turn, began to open up and lost crop at the eighth pole but still managed to repel the opposition. BLUEBERRY EYES stalked the pace three wide, was cued rounding the turn, chased on down the lane but was bested. STEPHANIE STARFISH was quick to set a pressured pace along the inside, met a bid from EAST SHORE rounding the turn, gave way in the upper stretch and flattened out, clear of the rest for the show award. LITTLE Z led the second flight of horses, never threatened. LIGHTENING MO raced off the pace, trailed briefly, passed tired foes. BEAUTIFUL JANET pressed the early pace setter in the two path, began retreating in the turn. TOM'S GIRL was never involved. A JOCKEY'S OBJECTION WAS LODGED BY BLUEBERRY EYES ON EAST SHORE CLAIMING INTERFERENCE ENTERING THE TURN RESULTED IN NO CHANGE.
