BRON AND BROW fought outside FLAMINGPROPOSITION for command up the backstretch, put that rival away with three furlongs remaining, moved over to the inside, kicked away from GOT THUNDER in upper stretch and drew off under left handed encouragement and strong handling. GOT THUNDER stalked the top pair in the early going, took aim two to three wide on the turn, watched BRON AND BROW draw away in upper stretch and finished a clear second. FLAMINGPROPOSITION dueled from inside, ridden along into the turn, could not go on with the winner at the three-eighths pole and weakened in the stretch.
