Footnotes
TIME TO PARTY chased four wide into the first turn then angled to the two path, moved out into the backstretch, challenged the top pair at the quarter pole, cleared in upper stretch and was kept busy to the wire. STEEL VENOM unhurried in the beginning, traveled two wide on the first turn, moved forward on the backstretch, chased in the three path on the far turn, angled out in the lane, finished willingly to gain second but could not reach the winner. FOXTROT HARRY set the pace on the inside under pressure, headed on the backstretch, carried a short lead through the far turn, fought with a pair of rivals turning for home, yielded to the winner in upper stretch, flattened in the late stages but was able to hold for third. SOUL COAXING prompted the pace from outside, fought on even terms on the backstretch, continued to battle in the two path on the second bend then between rivals at the quarter pole, could not keep pace with the winner outside the eighth pole and flattened to fourth. WHITE MOUNTAIN broke a step slow, trailed in the three path, continued off the rail on the far turn, steered out into the lane, angled in some near the eighth pole, kept trying to the wire but needed to find more. MO HOPE broke well, prominent early three deep then tucked inside on the first turn, pursued the top pair from the rail up the backstretch, hugged the rail to the stretch and weakened. SUPER WISE settled inside, fell back to last in the two path on the far turn and had little left for the stretch run.
