MISSION BELLE chased along the inside leaving the backstretch, moved into the two path with a quarter mile remaining, bid between in upper stretch, fought with outer pair in the late stages and dug in for the score. BEAUTIFUL JANET dueled outside KITIARA for six furlongs carried a short lead over rivals on both sides into the stretch, resisted to the sixteenth pole, then yielded grudgingly late. SISTER SAINT unhurried from inside, moved out at the half-mile pole, gained widest through the turn, bid three deep into the lane, battled into the last sixteenth but failed to find the needed late kick. HOW BOUT ME raced up close outside the top pair, coaxed along around the bend, drifted out in the lane and could not rally. KITIARA dueled from inside up the backstretch and around the turn, fought inside a pair of rivals briefly before yielding in upper stretch, then folded in the furlong grounds.
