ME PROMESA showed the way from inside under pressure, shook free at the top of the lane, remained clear into deep stretch and held well over the late run from HAND in the end. HAND was off slow and came in at the start, traveled in mid-pack on the inside early, chased two wide into the stretch, closed well through the lane but was not enough. SARGE CUSTIVITY prompted the pace from outside, kept the pressure on the leader through the turn, could not kick on with ME PROMESA at the top of the stretch and stayed on to earn the show honors. BOSS KID broke in and bumped, chased from inside, angled out in upper stretch then drifted out, finished willingly and rounded out the superfecta. LYNNWOOD was off slow to begin, traveled off the pace in the early going, took the turn two wide and failed to threaten. LIL BIT FORGOTTEN raced up close outside the top pair, moved out in upper stretch and weakened. BETRBREADY broke inward, chased three wide from out of range and proved no menace. LIAM'S HUFF bumped leaving the gate then lost his path and steadied, had to steady once again up the backstretch, angled to the inside, saved ground to the stretch and lacked a rally. COUNTRYSPIRITRISIN chased outside a rival well off the rail early, dropped back in the four path on the turn, eased in the lane and walked off. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
