BLUE CHAIR BAY broke well from the inside, moved well out in the course, showed the way in the four path into the first bend, relinquished the advantage just before a quarter, continued well wide, four wide into the second turn, asked into lane, regained the advantage just inside the furlong marker and edged away in the late going under continued steady handling. ESSENTIAL TIME dropped inside into the first turn when off the pace, settled in the run up the backstretch, advanced along the inside the third quarter, asked into the lane, finished willingly to be clear for the place. GOT STRIPES took over up front in the first turn toward the inside, continued to save some ground when showing the way into the far turn when briefly clear, responded when challenged into the lane then weakened when headed by the winner with just less than a furlong remaining. REBEL MOON broke back, void of speed for six furlongs, dropped to the inside when beginning to rally far turn, continued to show mild interest while too late for the show spot. FRIDAY NIGHT FEVER reluctant to load, broke back, raced in mid pack off the inside, four wide into the stretch, failed to rally. RICKIE ROOOO STER off a step slow, raced back and outside, four wide onto the backstretch, continued in the four path through the final bend, failed to rally. DIXIE STRONG forwardly placed early, began a steady retreat after five furlongs.
