CLEARLY COLOSSAL forwardly placed while four wide into the first turn, angled in a bit and dueled up the backstretch, but a head in front second turn, battled between horses and outside the other pacesetter upper stretch, held the runner up at bay in the late going in a good display of mettle. DULCE LOREFICHE unhurried for five furlongs, began to advance midway on the final turn, steered out widest for the drive, set down, slowly gained on the winner but ran out of track late. I BET YOU WONT away in good order, narrowly showed the way while in the two path into the first turn, moved to the rail and continued to show the way backstretch while pressured by the winner, headed by that one second turn, continued on to save the show. TINCAN CAT settled in the second flight must off the inside, ranged up three wide to mount a mild bid in upper stretch then flattened out in the final furlong. CHIEF NOW NOW last to leave, trailed for six furlongs off the inside, dropped to the inside in traffic midway on the second bend, improved position by cutting the corner into the lane, went flat the final furlong. M L BRODY'S GEM four wide when off the pace first turn, raced in the second flight up the backstretch, began to weaken in the second turn while between horses. PRINCE PERFECTA six wide into the first turn, angled in a bit to be four wide onto the backstretch, five path into the far turn, four wide exiting, also failed to muster a rally. LIKE CLOCKWORK five wide and between horses into the first turn, began a steady fade after a half.
