HAND bumped at the start, recovered to race closest to the leader while just off the inside late backstretch, dropped inside turn, cut corner, rail bid nearing midstretch, took over, fully extended to narrowly hold off the runner up in the final strides. HOUSEQUAKE in mid pack up the backstretch along the inside, stalled in some traffic into the turn, steered out into the three path turning for home, rallied outside, finished well to just miss. MOUSEKETOODLE broke sharp from the outside, cleared toward the inside, showed the way into and through the turn in the two path, continued to vie past the furlong marker, could not match the top two late while between that pair. saved the show. BOSS KID broke in, bumped with BERNDT MARSHMALLOW, was righted and raced forwardly off the inside, three wide through the turn, bit closer with a quarter left in the three path, lugged in past the furlong marker and flattened a bit to finish up evenly. BAYOU TIME fell back after the start, went one paced along the inside in lacking a closing kick. BERNDT MARSHMALLOW bumped at the start, raced back and off the inside, swung four wide into the stretch, lacked a closing response. ELECTRIC MAN fell back, lagged after the start, never a threat.
