Footnotes
TENSAS CAMP ROAD lacked speed early, steered out to be three wide late in the first turn, continued back in the run up the backstretch, steered in a bit far turn, knifed back out to be three wide in some traffic when beginning to advance with a quarter mile to run, closed with good resolve outside to be up in time. POCKETFUL OF MONEY bothered in some traffic just after the start to lack early foot along with the winner, raced with that one into the far turn in the back, dropped inside, cut the corner into the lane and finished up willingly with a rail rally to garner the show. THEBABESLAYER broke on top, narrowly showed the way into the first turn, set a pressured pace the middle half mile, vied into the late, stayed on well to save the show. MAGNOLIA WEST forwardly placed while four down to three wide first turn, headed up the second flight in the three path in the run up the backstretch and into the far turn, moved to lodge an outside bid nearing midstretch, came in, stalled and lost a couple of positions the final furlong. CAJUN MOVIESTAR in the second group while racing in the two path, asked along and angled out to be three wide late in the final bend, moved back to the two path to be clear for the drive but lacked a significant closing response through the lane. CUSTOM'S CLEARED back off the pace while outside early, four wide through the first turn, continued well wide up the backstretch to be four wide once again through the second turn, had little left for the drive. MISDEAL pressed the issue up front in the two path, continued to force the pace second turn, appeared to be tiring when bothered when MAGNOLIA WEST came in with a furlong to run, continued to weaken.
