Footnotes
STAR BYFAR , nudged to the front, secured the inside and set a rated pace, handled outer pressure leaving the far turn, sparred approaching the quarter pole, spurted away from a host of rivals after roused left handed, wandered outward a few paths near mid stretch, corrected then was unwavering to the wire. LOUISIANA STAR ducked in at the break, corrected and edged up while a bit headstrong, rated forwardly off the rail then eased further out nearing the turn, advanced five wide outside rivals into the lane, chased willingly from there and was able to narrowly save the place. ZONG'S FAVOR settled off the pace while saving ground, gained in hand past the five sixteenths to be within range of the quartet of leaders, worked outward past mid stretch then finished up with good effort to the inside of LOUISIANA STAR. PALACE ALEX edged up three deep around the first turn then prompted outside the winner, took closer order into the far turn, bid to battle on near even terms nearing the lane, was repelled by the winner leaving the three sixteenths and faded. TINCAN CAT , four wide through the backstretch run, shifted in through the drive but lacked a serious run. SOCIAL SOLUTION , close up between horses leaving the three quarter pole, tracked about three wide nearing the half, gained four wide approaching the stretch, lacked a further response past mid stretch and weakened.
