PATH TO SUCCESS vied for the early lead from the outside then took command to the backstretch, set the pace from the two path heading into the far turn, met the bid of KINGSCOTE nearing the top of the lane, dug in to mid-stretch, drifted under left hand urging in the drive, responded late and held safely. KINGSCOTE crowded a bit at the start then trailed approaching the first turn, moved to the outside of rivals and was five wide nearing the half-mile marker, loomed into the far turn then confronted his stablemate to upper stretch, gamely battled into the lane but was denied for the win. BAG OF GOLD was forwardly placed while outside of rivals, tracked the pace three then four wide nearing the half-mile marker, chased into the far turn, couldn't match strides with the top pair into the stretch drive but stayed on late to be a clear third. RINGSIDE crowded an inner foe leaving the gate, settled and saved ground to the backstretch, chased from the inside into the far turn, kept an inside path to the stretch, couldn't find more in the final furlong and gave way. ROCKALL hard to load prior to the start, settled in the second flight to begin, tracked the pace two to three wide nearing the half-mile marker, lost ground between foes into the far turn and came up empty in the stretch drive. LEAVING SHADOWS broke alertly, vied for the lead to the first turn, took a stalking position into the backstretch run, dropped back into the far turn and tired.
