Footnotes
BOTTLE IT , soundly bumped at the break, regrouped and raced under firm rating while stalking the dueling leaders, responded when cued near the quarter pole, forged ahead leaving the three sixteenths then steadily widened under a right handed drive. OBVIOUS CONCLUSION showed in front, eased back off outer foes near the half then stalked, was under coaxing saving ground into the stretch, snuck through along the rail in the final sixteenth and closed steadily to nab the place. LITTLE LEE , bumped from both sides at the start, recovered and edged up between runners to take a short lead after a furlong, secured the inside and dueled, edged away slightly and under pressure soon into the stretch, was unable to contain the winner's outer surge, chased on past the sixteenth marker and gave way grudgingly. CIEL , with the pace from the outside, dueled on a slim lead outside LITTLE LEE leaving the far turn, battled between runners near the quarter pole, failed to keep pace past the three sixteenths and weakened. PEA EYE bore out the break bumping a rival, straightened and dropped off the leaders nearing the turn, was under pressure four wide mid turn, continued wide through the drive and offered a belated response. CAUSE IM THE KING hopped at the break then was bumped and squeezed back, dropped well off the pace into the turn and failed to get involved.
